Kelly Cline Quilting

“Champagne and Caviar” WINS 2nd PLACE!!!

I was thrilled for my first entry EVER to win a 2nd place ribbon over the weekend! What a treat! Entered in the new, VINTAGE category, at UQSM, in Sandy, UT.

The front quilting really created a wholecloth on the back of the quilt.  LOVE IT!

And that second green ribbon? Even more super thrilled because it was for, “Teacher of the Year”! Let’s just say I had a great weekend! Thanks to all of you who follow my journey!

Thanks Linda, up close and personal is so much better! I think all quilts don’t show in photos like they do in person. Thanks again!

Congrats Kelly, It’s a wonderful quilt. I wondered yesterday what that other big ribbon was for, now I can read it. Aren’t you going to tell us about your Teacher of the Year Award? or is that for another post? What an honor. Now I will have to take a class with you since you’re such a big shot 🙂

Thanks Karen! Well, it was Teacher of the Year. Don’t know what else to say except it was a HUGE shock and I loved it! I don’t see it as a “big shot” ;), just an honor. Thanks again!

Congratulations on your win! IMHO, though, you WELL deserved the first place ribbon in any show . . . your piece is exquisite, and your recreative work enhanced it perfectly. Absolutely beautiful! And, the teacher’s award? WOW! What an honor, as there re some incredible teachers out there. CONGRATULATIONS1

I’m am so thrilled for you, Kelly!! Having watched over your shoulder (virtually) for years, I know full well how much went into this gorgeous creation. You certainly deserved those awards. I have learned SO much from you, via your blog & FB posts.
Are there plans still in the works for you to come to the Millersburg/Sugar Creek areas of Ohio? I’d love to get to take a class from you if you’re coming to that area.

Thank you SO much! We all need people watching over us 😉 Many thanks for following. Nothing has materialized for teaching there, yet! I just need a shop or guild to hire me and I’ll be there. I’m sure one day it will happen!
