Kelly Cline Quilting

Donations to Houston!

It’s difficult this week not to think about the folks of Texas. For all the rulers sold this week, I will donate $10 to Portlight, who offer emergency assistance to people with disabilities. I can’t imagine the journey ahead. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one affected.

I also have quilt friends in Texas. One in particular is collecting and distributing quilts to those in need. If you are wanting to sew and help with a quilt donation, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will send her name and address to you. Thanks to all of you who sew for kindness in ALL forms!

My family lives all over Houston, Pasadena, and surrounding areas. Thankfully most made it through just fine, but the one who could least afford it. His house was washed away, and his car completely destroyed. He lost everything!! So he might be one who might also benefit. In spite of this he remains in high spirits. So please give till it hurts, and then give some more. Thanks on behalf of my baby brother, and the rest of the survivors.

Good for you Kelly .This is the type of disaster hardly ever seen in this country. We all who are more fortunate need to help.
