Thanks so much for sharing this video my grands will love doing this. I’ve colored on fabric and then used an iron and papertowel to get rid of the wax but had never heard of using a griddle.

Hi Kelly,
I would like to give this a try.
I am not sure what fabric to use.
I very much appreciate this fun project suggestion.
Thank you very much.

Any white fabric will work, no brand in particular. I’ve used sheets as well!

Does the wax from the crayons not affect the needle when quilting, or do I need to be sure to iron all of it off prior?

Wax does not affect needle. You can iron between newspapers, but nothing extra to worry about!
