**NEW** Vintage Embroidery!!

Well folks, I’ve fallen into the world of pattern creating, for vintage embroideries! I recently finished a pincushion from an adorable ‘found’ embroidery. I had a few people ask if they could get the pattern or where to find it. Well, I couldn’t locate it anywhere, so I decided to pattern it myself. And myself means, with the help of my graphic artist daughter and my wildly talented, 13 year old granddaughter.

My granddaughter, Juniper, knows her way around a program called Procreate, and designed the NEW pattern for me. Many older patterns were never copywritten and are in the public domain.

Once she created the final pattern, I made a color key, stitch guide, and stitched out the pattern to make sure it worked, and it does!!

I used 6 colors of DMC floss in various strands….1, 2, and 3 strands, depending on the type of stitch. Of course, these are suggested colors and stitches. You can certainly change any of those and make it your own!

This is my finished piece, Lady in the Garden. I just LOVE her! I have printed the design on wash away stabilizer and have it ready for purchase with instructions in my online shop.
